About the Soccer Exhibition
Scoring for Care is a program that raises funds
for people living with hemophilia and other
bleeding disorders in Florida, the United States
and around the globe. The
Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida and the Central
Florida Kraze
are teaming up with the World Federation
of Hemophilia (WFH) to launch a fundraising event
on Monday, May 28, 2007, at 3:00 p.m., with Major League Soccer star Freddy Adu
at the Florida
Soccer Alliance Stadium at the David Maus
Toyota Soccer Complex.
How It Works
Soccer teams and other groups interested in supporting Scoring for Care who meet a fundraising minimum of $100 will be invited to the Scoring for Care Soccer Exhibition with Freddy Adu and leading Florida soccer coaches. The Scoring for Care Soccer Exhibition will feature skill drills, an exhibition, raffles, autographed merchandise and more!
If you want to participate, gather your friends and family and form a fundraising
group—you don’t have to be a soccer team to raise money and awareness
through Scoring for Care! As an added incentive, if your group raises $1,000
or more, your group will receive an opportunity to meet Freddy Adu. (Additional
fundraising incentives can be found below.)
All groups are encouraged to be creative about the way they raise funds since each group knows their community best. Everyone is invited to participate, from soccer parents and coaching staff and to anyone in the community interested in making a difference. Tools. Groups must complete all fundraising one week before the event.
